James 5:16 reads “We confess our sins to each other so that we may be healed.  The prayer of a righteous man (woman) is powerful and effective. 

Who are you?

Stay with me…I promise I’m going somewhere.

A while ago God began telling me to be who he has called me to be.  At times it’s easy to just melt into the natural roll of mother, wife, etc…but what about the most natural calling he’s placed on your life?  Trying to quell the prophet in me and saying, “Shh, not right now” when he tells me to speak is just as unnatural as me walking outside and seeing a pig flying or hearing my dogs speak french. Yea, I’m being a tad bit facetious but you get me. I can’t very well decide today to change my dna so why would I attempt to change or not speak or do what God naturally ordained me to do?

If my prayers are powerful and effective why not use that power?  ( I know most of the questions are rhetoric.) My point is there is great power in being who God called you to be.  I am who he said I am. I can’t hide, make apologies for it, dumb it down so not to offend, or hush.  I am a prophet, an intercessor, a child of the most high.  In the words of a great pastor, “Prophet Prophecy, Prophet… Prophet See.” Use the power God gave you to do what he has called you to do.  Be who he has called you to be.  Who are you?

Father in the name of Jesus we thank you for being you.  There is no one like you and we count it a honer and a privilege to come before you.  Who are we that you are mindful of us?  Lord we bless you.  Forgive us for leaving in fear and not trusting you.  Thank you for keeping us even when we were stubborn, unsure, afraid, untrusting.  Lord we thank you.  Give us wisdom to go after what you told us is ours.  What the enemy came and stole we thank you that he has to give it back seven fold.  We bless you and we love you.  Amen.
