Sometimes you’re not going to feel like what you would call your normal chipper self.  Pay attention.  When you feel like something is going on with you it is.  Those are the times you have to move out of the way and allow God to speak to you clearly.  Lean on him, Trust in him, Depend on him.  Just because we change doesn’t mean that he does.  He is reliable when you are having an “off”day.  I’m sure I’m telling you something you already know.  However, think of this.  What if when you’re feeling a bit “off” or “out of it” you just began to speak to him and ask him what it is he wants you to do.

Those times when you feel as if you’re on top of the world, no one can touch you. You know where you’re going, what assignment God gave you, you’re looking like the Heisman Trophy, can’t be touched.  And mentally your singing Mc. Hammer’s “Can’t Touch This.”  Ponder this….. what if those times you are so untouchable and soooooo unreachable God was trying to get through but couldn’t.  You’ve seen his plan and ran with it. Stopping every now and again to get refueled.  Think about the Daytona 500.  You see they will make a pit stop only when they have to. So you were like that only making a pit stop when you had to.  Not fully being recharged the way God wanted you to.

Now, you’ve poured into others around you.  Given your last to everyone else and you’re now sitting with your head downcast wondering Lord when is it going to be my turn to rest.  Now is that time.  While you’re sitting there, laying there, going about your everyday activities allow God to refuel you, recharge you, speak to you, whisper to you.

While you are speaking to others what he instructed, while you are putting your hands to the fire, while you are working your mandated position God still requires for you to rest in him.  Your business can’t succeed without him, but with him your business will succeed.  REST IN HIM.

Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you for covering and keeping us.  Lord forgive us for wearing ourselves thin.  You maketh us lie beside the still waters so you can replenish our spirits and nourish our body. Lord speak to us clearly and without any distractions. Lord touch us like never before. In Jesus Mighty Name.  Hallelujah!! I decree and declare that the peace of God rest in each and everyone of his children. That the Rest of God overtakes your people and they hear you like never before!! In Jesus Name!!
