The argument started by the tone of one and then the look of the other. Ensuing the biggest fall out in the history of man. Letting their spiritual guards down first the man began to speak to his help mate in an inferior tone making her feel like a heathen or what he stepped on before he made it home. Looking around at the children that she had nurtured from her breast, his children, at the house that she maintained while he was out doing his share of work, at the table that she had prepared with her hands while their children suckled at her breast she exhaled her peace and inhaled the spirit of dissension. She remembered the times she would hear the voice in her ear telling her, “YOU DON’T NEED THIS!! YOU DON’T DESERVE THIS!! YOU DON’T NEED A MAN!!. In that very moment she became what her ancestors prayed against.

Standing there in the middle of the their living quarters in front of those that looked up to them. One began to beat down the other with her words causing wounds unseen but piercing the heart nonetheless. Emotions of anger swept throughout their temples, stirring up envy, jealousy, strife, and brokenness. Satan smiled. Finally the tearing of the family. One can not build up the other if the other is not there. For ages he had watched and planned a way to separate the help meet from the husbandman (husbandman in the Bible one whose business it is to cultivate the ground. It was one of the first occupations, and was esteemed most honorable (Gen. 9:20; 26:12, 14; 37:7, etc.). By tearing those two apart he knew that the house that was built would be like that without a strong foundation. While the woman glared and spit venom the man heard the same words that were spoken to the woman, “YOU DON’T NEED A WOMAN!!”

The children produced of the union stared immobile. For what could they do? They were taught to respect their parents and this was all new to them. They had seen people argue, but not like this, not the two people that they trusted and learned from. So, they set unmoving and barely blinking. They wanted to cry and yell for them to stop, but no sound emitted.

What their ancestors had taught them both was to love the Lord they God with all thine hearts, that for the man he would be their to cover and keep his family shouldering the responsibility to provide for his family, leading them in worship of the one and only God, speaking with wisdom and love and his help meet would be there to uplift him, speaking life into her home and building up their family. They would both have working rolls, hers not so much in labor with him, but only if deemed necessary. He recognized that she was vital to his life. That without her to build him up he would seem only half the man God intended him. He flourished in this and so did she.

As those words entered both their minds and began to enter their hearts, they did what was never intended. They broke up the family. The children heard what was said and like a seed it set in their spirits until it made a burrow in their little hearts. The children learned from example to use anger instead of peace, to demean those that they cared for, to lash out. See, Satan was still smiling. The tearing down of one family caused the tearing down of millions more.

One of the greatest lies ever told was to a woman when Satan told her you don’t need a man. You don’t need the man that God made as your covering, you don’t need a man to provide for his family, you don’t need a man to lead by a great example and show his daughters and sons what a God fearing man is. Satan whispered to the man that you don’t need a woman, you can do everything she does and look better at it, you can leave your children unprotected and unlearned, let them find their own way. So, she took on the role as man/and he took on the role of a woman. Blurring the lines of what is the natural order. Walking into what was never God’s natural state, the women and men said I don’t need a man, and turned to their own lust. With the tongue a woman can either build up her home or tear it down. With his actions a man can cover a woman or leave her unprotected. When that woman feels safe and secure she will lift up that man. When he comes in and uncovers her she is left helpless and soon will be on defense.

We need one another. To say that I don’t need a man is a lie from the pit of hell. Satan has it to where when that is said by a woman she is made to feel bad. Women you are to have a covering. Man you are to cover. God made these two male and female. He made one from the other. If it was not his intention for them to be together he would have never had made it so. Yes, it’s just that simple.

Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for the gift of family. I thank you for the spirit you have blessed in your men and in your women. I thank you for the wisdom and for the purpose you have set before each and every one. Lord forgive us for being haughty and not loving our wives like you have loved the church, forgive us for not submitting to our husbands as you have instructed. Lord teach us to seek you together as husband and wife. Lord call the men to step up in their families and call the women to worship and show the children the great example you have called him to be. Lord touch every ordained marriage and give them the tools needed to fight the enemy. Lord bless the women with unrenowned virtue, wisdom, and grace. Bless us to be who you have called us to be. Lord the mothers that are out in the world call them back into the homes to be great examples of women of God, with your heart. Lord let our tongues be the balm that is needed when that husband comes in from work or with any issue he is facing. I degree and declare that healing is in the families right now. That husbands and wives put together by God will speak life into one another, that children will be saved in Jesus Name. That the balm will be placed on wounded hearts in Jesus Mighty Name.
